MOBILE HOMES
Georgia law requires non-homestead mobile homes located in Burke County on January 1 to pay ad valorem taxes and obtain and display a decal annually. O.C.G.A. 48-5-492. Taxes are delinquent if not paid by the deadline and incur a 10% penalty plus applicable interest. O.C.G.A. 48-2-40
Failure to display a current year decal will result in a fine of $100.00 to no more than $300.00.
